One Finish, Carried All the Way Through

Brushed nickel is a soft, warm-toned metal with a satin surface that catches light rather than throwing it back. Against the neutral tiles and the timber vanity, it sits in the same tonal family as everything around it. The owners chose it for the tapware, the shower rail and the basin mixer, and carrying it through to the screen was the decision that finished the room.

On a semi-frameless screen the frame runs the full perimeter of the enclosure, so it is one of the largest expanses of metal in the room. Getting that finish right is what makes a palette look complete rather than assembled.

Brushed nickel is one of a wide range of finishes we supply. Matt black, bright silver, matt silver, white, brushed brass and gun metal are all available, and frames can be powder coated to a custom colour where a scheme calls for something specific. Whatever the palette, the screen can be made to sit inside it.

The Dog Leg Panel

The bathroom has a nib wall beside the vanity, and the screen was measured to take it in. The return panel steps down and across to follow the wall exactly.

This is what a custom screen is for. The glass can accommodate a nib wall, a return that is not quite square, none of it is an obstacle. Our measurers work to the room as it is built and the screen is manufactured to those dimensions.

Mounted on the Sill

The screen sits on a raised tiled sill rather than the bathroom floor. The sill contains water at floor level and the glass seals the space above it. It also lifts the base of the screen, so the brushed nickel frame rises off a clean tiled edge.

The Pivot Door

Entry is through a pivot door set into the front panel, with a brushed nickel knob to match the rest of the room.
